so we were on a frustrating shopping spree today where I found everything except what I needed.
my feet have been KILLING me with really painful callouses and such and so for the first time I am shopping for shoes with the primary purpose of COMFORT! I decided this might be important after owning only cheapo Old Navy-ish shoes and now being almost unable to WALK at all. Yep, I'm frugal to a fault in some areas.
so we went to 3 shoe stores, kids in tow, and I can't find a thing that is decent to look at and looks well-made or has some kind of insole cushioning type thing for pregnant ladies with sore feet. the ones that did look promising were all around 90$ which I just can't allow myself to spend. on one pair of shoes! Yikes! what's a girl to do? any advice on comfy, price-won't-break-the-bank shoes out there? or a good sale?

Oh I totally hear ya on the spending money on shoes!! I can't help ya, but I can feel for you. Does it help for me to remind you that you probably can't see your feet now anyway ;)
I hear everyone talking good about those crocs or the wannabe ones. I have yet to get a pair but everyone I know loves them.
All the best!
Shoes are important!!! you have to take care of your feet! specially when your pregnant.
the most comfy shoes I have found right now is my no-name crocs. They are a bit wider then the regular ones, and I find that is what I need.
I no longer like my birks... and I have had them for 2 years!
Good luck!!
I have a terrible time shopping for shoes too! I have had some luck at WalMart believe it or not. :) They carry a Dr. Soles brand that has some decent shoes for definitely less than $90. I guess it depends what you are looking for.
I hear ya. My feet always hurt, calluses, etc. The best thing for me in summer is my favorite cheap squishy flip flops that I bought at one of thos cheapo junky accessory stores with all the jewelry, belts, etc., in the mall. They feel so nice to wear, until you step on a rock. Ouch.
Hi there! I agree with everyone else - you need to take good care of you feet (I recommend talking your hubby into lots of foot rubs!). The shoes I wore through my entire pregnancy are a brand called Steps by Hush Puppies - I'm pretty sure they came from the Shoe Company (I'm not sure if you have that out in your neck of the woods). They're just slip on black shoes (flats), and I wore them all the time - so comfy! And, the best part is, I think they were only 40-50 bucks! My sister has really high arches and lots of foot pain, and she's the one that recommended this brand to me! Good luck1
