Second honeymoon?
Mom and Dad sent us away last weekend for a fabulous, peaceful, childless getaway. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
The destination: Creekside, Whistler
The ride: Nearly didn't survive the winding road up in the dark, but the way down was much better and we got to take in the scenery too.
The highlights: Strolling the Village Stroll,
the Rock and Gem store,
lots of laughter and conversation with my DH (dear husband for the uninitiated),
Dinner at Monks at Blackcomb (mmmmm, crabcakes),
Hiking at Lost Lake (and avoiding bears).
All in all, what a refreshing, relaxing,
peaceful weekend where we got to enjoy each other's company
and take in all the beauty of God's world.
