This cartoon is such a shockingly accurate depiction of my current state. My balance is totally compromised, my feet are unbelievably huge (thank God for flip-flop season), sleep is an endless series of tosses and turns, and today my belly measured 39 cm. Yes, 39. Ahhhh!!!!! I'm not sure how that's possible because last week it was 36 cm, but the midwife says it has to do with the baby's position changing. Yikes.
The reason for this post is not (a) to prove my sister wrong about my lack of complaining, or (b) to bore you with pregnancy details, but it is (c) to ask you to pray for the events of the next two weeks.
I had my maternity appointment today and I've been feeling a bit worried about things, so I would like to make use of you, my amazing network of friends, old and new, to ask you to pray that things would go smoothly.
In specific:
My blood pressure is high. I am actually hoping for an early induction, so if this is to play a factor in deciding that then pray that the doctor would make that decision. In any case, please pray for my health and baby's wellbeing. If I am induced, I would appreciate your prayer for the influence that has on labor. In general it would be great if this baby would come soon! Thank you friends!!
