The cost:
A morning with it's share of chaos, 3 children crying at once whilst rushing to get ready, wash the dishes, tidy up...a change in schedule leading to a grumpy baby for awhile...a missed appointment with Mr. Billly Blanks....a lack of things ticked off on my to-do list....a very wet and charcoal-y Mekaia (they got into the hose and firepit)....and 3.50$ for the lemon loaf I chose to buy instead of bake.
The reward:
An hour and a half of wonderful fellowship with other humans of similar age and gender, with no whining, demanding, disciplining or screaming! Totally worth it.

Uhhh...let me guess...you got to go to a ladies Bible study?
Yup. It's actually a Moms' group that will do a bit of everything I think...Bible study, practical stuff, just gabbing. It's kind of a chore to get there but like I said...WORTH IT!
Oh my goodness, where did you find this group, and what did you do with the kids?
There is a church here we've gone to a few times, and everyone is SO nice, but the boys have been scared to be left in the preschool sunday school so I've stayed with them, and the baby has stayed with us too. Then on Wednesday nights (when I REALLY want to go) the program starts at 7 and that is bedtime here.
But I really think we need to force ourselves to go. Look out, you're inspiring me!
I know, it's totally hectic trying to get everyone out the door and cooperating for these things! I honestly didn't know if I would brave it more than once...but the encouragement and sane adult conversation is so REFRESHING!
All it is is a group of about 6 moms from my church meeting at someone's house..they should be getting a babysitter soon which will cut down on the charcoal and water accidents!
