fleeting as it may be.
It's a metaphorical glimpse into my state of being these days.
Beam me up Scotty!
On the other hand, in many ways I am enjoying the meaning and peace of this season.
Our Christmas tree is up, decorated and re-decorated (shhhh...don't tell my kids).
The Christmas baking has begun. We have Lesina's Winter Concert tonight with her school. So it's not all worth escaping...but I still have fantasies of running away to live by myself in a little hermit house on a mountain sometimes.
The grass is always greener, right?
I'm sure it wouldn't take long and I'd be lonely for all the busy little people down at the bottom of the hill.
I choose to be content and acknowledge that I am blessed!
