I have been enjoying the lovely delicacy of fresh greens from my own garden. I've decided to devote a bigger bed to lettuces next year, it's so delicious straight from the garden. My salad will be complete once my cherry tomatoes and cukes are ripened, which should happen in the next week I think. I love being able to eat from my own garden!!
A moose was found in the garden today, unabashedly stuffing his mouth with parsley. Yum yum! Now what sensible child would eat large quantities of parsley when asked to, I wonder? But if they can pick it straight from the garden, that's another story!! (Notice there is an actual moose on his shirt..Mom and Dad found the perfect shirt for him up in Lake Louise!!)
