The zinnia patch is FINALLY coming into bloom...note to self, plant earlier next year! They are quite big and brilliant, although they still have quite a ways to go to live up to my Oma's.
I went to the doctor today, and she said something which I have been longing to hear but didn't think possible:
"This baby does not seem to be bigger than average at all, more along the lines of your first one (8 lbs) IF THAT!" I restrained myself from all-out hugging her, and I know, I know, the doctor isn't able to precisely determine weight...but still! Hallelujah!!
I was working on the baby quilt today, and it's nearly done...very close indeed. I'm almost 37 weeks so all of you impatient people will see the cat out of the bag very very soon. Just STOP already asking me if the baby's here yet!! Heeehee....it's starting already, I can't believe it. Unfortunately I haven't restrained myself very well in baby preparations, so if the doctor somehow made a gender mistake, there are going to be a lot of clothes up for sale, and redecorating happening...hopefully my instinct on this one is right!!
