hmmmmmm.

As of 6:15 this morning the whole family has been awake for 1 hour (as usual I may add) and 3/4 of us have been crying unnecessarily. Hmmmmm. Welcome to my week!
My personal conclusion is that sleep loss is cumulative, and after 11 months of it, I am close to being a basket case. It's the worst in the early morning, right around lunch, and right before the kids' bedtime at 8:00. The rest of the day, I'm usually fine. Which I am bright enough not to attribute to any virtue in myself, but only to desperately needed supernatural help! It's hard to believe we'll ever sleep properly again!

oooh dear poor sarah. It sure feels better once you let loose a cry eh?I do hope your day gets better luv.

my only suggestion: put the kids to bed earlier...and hope that you can get more quiet-refreshing-sleep/self time at night.

hey, if they think 5:15 is okay for you to have to wake up...they can surrender to an early bedtime. hahaha. you need A BREAK. :)
love you sis.

no sleep for you? Oh dear. Is he still nursing? What does he do/want when he wakes in the night?

Oh. Those were the days. It'll get better soon...here are some encouraging quotes...

"Just keep going, just keep going"
-Dori (Finding Nemo)

"I think I can, I think I can."
-The Little Engine That Could

"You can do it! Push! Push!"
-Dave Naus in a few months time

Oops, how'd that one get there?

thanks for all the sympathy (0:
yep, he's all done nursing as of 4 days ago! I'm looking forward to a little more freedom. He doesn't usually wake through the night, but once in a while he still does. He usually goes back to sleep pretty fast after being picked up and put down. I think it's just the constant early mornings that are killing me.
Thanks for the encouragement!!

Yes, we seem to have the sleeping in problem these days in our house. Must be the dark days of November. Hibernation mode perhaps? Now if only we could get Nu to stop crying.
