Well, I'm still waiting for my new niece/nephew to arrive out in Ontario, although I'm sure not with the same amount of desperation that my sister is feeling right now!!! I think he or she might be waiting for the official start of Spring to arrive on Wednesday or something.
Today has been nice and slow-paced so far, which I love. This morning the Moose and I picked out a shade plant at Home Depot for a corner of the garden that is looking bare and boring (you can see it on my garden site), and then picked up the Ladybird from a sleepover at Nana and Grandpa's house. Lucky girl. We baked cookies, did some painting, read some books, and they both were extremely tired by 12:30, and ready for naps. The Moose actually crawled onto me from where he was sitting on the couch, plopped his head on my shoulder and was out like a light at 12:45. Crazy. This is the kid who took hours of vigorous rocking, shushing and crying to get to sleep for the first year of his life!!!! I am so pleased that he's beginning to take after his father in being able to sleep anywhere and everywhere at the drop of a hat. That could help this summer when we're out and about.
That brings me to the other thing I've been doing lately. Planning. It's a strange quirk, but planning things for me is half the fun of doing things. So I've been making note of trips I want to make in the spring and summer...Bradner Flower Show, Peace Arch Park, May Day Parade, Lynden Holland Days, Harrison Lake, Granville Island... and also making a plan for our back yard garden, which needs to be started in the next month so I'll have somewhere to plant all those vegetable seeds I have ready. Anyway, that's the news around here. We're very excited for Mom and Dad who will be chilling in sunny Hawaii this time on Wednesday afternoon! Provided they bring us back some Macadamia nuts, we have allowed them to go. Just a little jealous is all (0:

Your garden site is so lovely! I really enjoyed looking at your pictures, poems, and favorite paintings!
Babies are weird eh? Just when we think we have Corrina sleeping better she changes. Arrrggg. Moose is onto one nap a day now eh? Maybe that is the answer to our sleep troubles. Oh well.. they are wonderful apart from all the sleeping stuff! Hope you are feeling well! Enjoy planning.. i love planning too!
Hey Sarah, I have finally started blogging again. It's good to catch up and see how you are doing. I hardly ever see you at church these days. Anyway we should get together one of these days. Sarah B.
