...from the garden...




So a few pics from my garden blog are migrating over here...

The tulips are a salute to my (half) Dutch heritage...did you know Holland gave Canada several hundred thousand tulip bulbs as a thank you after liberation at the end of WWII? I thought that was cool.

The white star flowers were a pleasant surprise this morning, I didn't plant them, but I think a bird or squirrel must have!

And the other picture shows proof of my shameless plant addiction. I asked for this new garden to be built, while promising myself that I would not fill it all in this year, however...well, I just couldn't help myself. Anyways, it is hopefully all going to survive and be a romantic, colorful, and full cottage garden in a few months. Some of the plants are bee balm, foxglove, daylily, phlox, bachelor's button, daisy, aster, delphinium, may night sage, pincushion flower and jupiter's beard.
