the mini-tractor trail
We set off with Nana for the Apple Barn today as a field trip for our newly started 'home-pre-school'. We've been learning about bees this week, the letter 'B', the insect bee, the process of honey-making....we've even been dancing like bees to the 'Flight of the Bumblebee'! So we went to the Apple Barn to see their honeycomb in glass in the wall of their store. And then we bought honey sticks for a quarter each, which you can see the kids eating on the steps. They had a lot of fun, though most of it had to do with tractors and giant trampolines...more pictures follow...
p.s. thank you for all of your kind words from my last post...much appreciated. I got to sleep in until 6:10 this morning and I've felt GREAT all day so far! Yippee!

Sarah you are such a great mom. Your stories sound so much more peaceful than mine. LOL You will have to show me the ropes.
thank you, thank you thank you for your last post on thankfulness. what a good reminder to us all! and i ADORE those fall planters as well. makes my green thumb itch a little :)
Looks like you had fun at the Apple barn. We are headed there in a couple of weeks and looking forward to it. The kids never seem to outgrow that field trip.
Maybe you should have jumped on the bouncy thing - it might have got your labour started!! :)
