random

This is a bit of a random post. Here's what we've been up to lately...the ladybird had a lovely tea party complete with real honey vanilla mountain white chai, sugar and milk, and her new tea set, which was a Christmas gift from our neighbors. Isn't it cute? Her tea party guest was Halle, who is the daughter of my childhood friend Naomi. They had a ton of fun and it's so cool to see them playing together knowing that we did the same for years and years! Today has been all about folding a mountain of laundry (it's literally taken up an entire couch...all piles now, somewhat neatly folded-I really need to work on my folding technique... it just hasn't seemed worthwhile to me yet, as I know soon it will be undone and dirty again!), playing with our new John Deere Farm set from Oma and Opa (ok, it was actually for the kids), reading books, watching 'Larry Boy and the Giant Rumor Weed' and hanging around the house catching up on this and that. There's a few exciting things coming up for us... a visit from my Aunt Dianne and her new husband, as well as Aunt Tish and her family, whom we don't see often...Yay! And Nu and I are going to a Couple's Retreat from our church next month which we're really excited about. Thanks Mom and Dad for agreeing to take the kids (0: That's it for now!

What a precious tea party! So nice read your little update. Kind of makes me want to have a tea party too!
aaaawwwwwwwww, sooooo cute! i love L's face in the second picture!! what an awesome picture smile. hahaha.
Did they really drink the tea???? Julia pretends she wants some, but never actually really wants it..haha, she is very sure that i didn't like tea when i was a little girl, and so she doesn't need to like it or drink it until she grows up. haha. same with coffee.

wish we could join the reunion! say hi to the aunts and hug them for us!

That's so cool that your childhood friend's daughter and your daughter can play together. And yes the tea party set is so cute!
